No, PES(Panther Expedited Services) does not own any of its own trucks. We are 100% owner operator.

While PES is compromised of 100% owner operators, there are opportunities for those who do not have their own trucks to drive for fleet owners.

Isn’t there a lot of down time in the expediting industry?
Just like any other are of the transportation industry, there are going to be times where you may have down time between loads. Expediting is no different in this aspect to these other areas of the transportation industry.

How much money can I make?

How many miles am I going to run?

How often am I going to get home?
This is another question best answered by our recruiters as this differs for each individual depending on where they live.

Are there dedicated or regional runs available?
Due to the nature of our business in the just in time arena of transportation there are not any runs like this available as we are currently adapting to the needs of our ever increasing customer base.

Will I have a dedicated dispatcher with whom I will be working with every day?
Yes you will have a dedicated team of driver managers with whom you will work on a daily basis, in order to handle any of your issues, questions and needs.

Can I own multiple trucks?
Yes, as a matter of fact PES encourages the ownership of fleets. There are many additional benefits that fleets are able to take advantage of within the PES system.
